The signage and menus have a mixture of sans and san-serif font to it giving it a mixture of informal and formal.

The menus look cluttered and busy but have a casual look to it. The titles are very bold grabbing the attention of the customer. I think this could work well for the refectory but not as busy, easier to read and with a simpler layout.

I think the signage is good, using bold colours and lots of things popping out. Some have a formal look and other a more casual look to them, this then would appeal to two types of audiences, one to relax and a more mature one. This reason makes me think similar signage would work at college.

I think the interior is good but looks cluttered and lacks that comfortable feel to it, the sofas look welcoming whereas the space filled with tables and chairs look cluttered and might make the refectory look the same.
