In this image I choose To make the focus point of the image stand out, being the number plate, I done this by using the pen tool to select the outside of the image I then choose Black/white in the image drop down menu.
I choose to just turn this black and white, like BrownJhons. I thought the white would stand out it's self like Nicholas Goodden's work.
Here i made the image black and whit I tried to add a glow effect to the light. This did not turn out well I though it made it look too rough.
I changed how I edited this image and decided to let the light be left as the original image. I done this by making a duplicate layer, making one black and white, the other with colour. Once I had done this I placed the black and white image over the top and erased the area I wanted to sow though.I really like the out come of this one as it is a lot like Brownjhons work and the things i pick out work well.
In this i used bevel emboss to raise the shape around the text. I thought this looked cool and gave a different 3D texture to my image.
In this image i added a glow effect to this image, I done this so it look like the club was coming to life after dark. The neon glow pays hommage to the old rave scene in the early 90's where by clubbers used glow sticks.
This image was edited from its original colours as I thought it would make it stand out against the dark brickwork. I used red, white and blue as methodist churches are part of the english culture, therefore reflecting the type from the colours of out national flag.
I picked out the type in these colours to accentuate the colour already in the photo.
I turned this image to greyscale and made the circle signs red to make them standout against the rest of the image.
For this image I inverted the layer so that the type stood out against the background. This made the type much easier to read.
In this image I changed the symbol colour to yellow therefore making it a focal point of the image. The symbol is a ZooYork logo which is a skate board brand. I could copy and paste this symbol many times over the image changing the colours each time which would have turned my image into a campaign poster perhaps.
I made the background around the tree image greyscale so that the hue and saturation of the tree could be adjusted in order to make the tree image more prominent.
