London typegraphica

London typographic is a sight witch allows people to take photos of type and art around London and upload them from there phone, it then places them on an online map of London for other people to view.

Here is an image i liked and took from the London typegraphica website. I like the match of green and yellow also the serif text they have used. I am not sure of the type face but i really like it as it has a retro look.

This image may have been taken from a commuter on his/her way to work or even some who is going sight seeing, this is why i like this web sight as you do not have to be professional about it or even in the art/design industry. If you see something on you're travels you can just stop take a photo and upload it.

This caught my eye as the brightness of the lights, this image almost looks professional.

I can see how this idea may have been influenced by Robert BrownJohn as the work produced by BrownJohn is very urban and his photos look natural like the things in his photos have not been put there by a human. They do not look staged. This web page is also urban art you can find just in the streets, it may be graffiti or just the way you're surroundings look and this is how BrownJohn took his photos.
